do people go to shows anymore?  i like looking at the list of upcoming club acts . . . and nobody is sold out.  except xx and that girl who'll never play.  not even dirty projectors?  or big boi?  or the vaselines opening for somebody?

I heard Hank III was great as always.

Hank III's show at The National was out of control. That psychobilly hardcore punk/metal stuff was nuts. One of the most intense mosh pits I've ever seen.

saw Sam Amidon (monday), Dirty Projectors/Owen Pallett (tuesday), Dungen/Wooden Shjips (wednesday)….all great shows, no complaints.  ;D

saw FYF Fest in Los Angeles as well the past weekend…saw a little bit of Panda Bear…mass exodus after 20 minutes or so…
