now thats some jealously right there.  not for cheap trick, but for benatar.  she rocked the club when i saw her and was such a nice person on stage.
I just want to know who the fuck is Giraldo?

;D
I have seen both Pat Benatar and Cheap Trick at my local fair haha. The Cheap Trick set list looks pretty good. They coulda stuffed "Clock Strikes 10" in there though.
He opened for her when she played 930 right?

I do not plan on going to any shows this week, since ScapeScape is next weekend.  But here is my tentative schedule for ScapeScape (lots of end of summer activities including a crabbing contest that weekend so i had to scale back what i wanted to see at the festival).

Saturday 4:30 PM till…
Chester Endersby Gwazda, Boister, the Lollipops, Wing Dam, Moss of Aura, Celebration (if I dont leave at 11PM I will also go to J.Ek and Chiffon but that is doubtful).

Sunday (depends on when crabbing is finished) to 1:30 AM
Hopefully (A Guide to Rational Living, Soul Cannon, Television Hill), and definitely Sri Aurobindo, Arbouretum, Mt Royal, Roomrunner, Horse Lords.

Not bad for $20.
Pree tonight
Coathangers/Teen Liver Tuesday
Martial Canterel Thursday
maybe Opale/Ensemble Economique Friday
Jamie Kilstein>Priests/Downtown Boys Saturday
Movie Star Junkies/Harness Flux Sunday
Made In America in Phili Sat and Sun
;D
Went to see "World's End" this weekend it's fun, especially if your a fan of 90s UK music.  "Call The Cops"

Going to see it next week.  Can't wait!
Diarrhea Planet tomorrow night and I couldn't be more pleased about this.
have fun….saw them last night, best $8 spent this year so far. They played all but one song from the new album…

The So So Glos were great as well.

thanks, great to know about the so sos
I would like to go again but I can't skip Zero Boys…..
Diarrhea Planet was unbelievable. Great sound, songs, stage show, everything. They played like they were on an arena stage. So good. It's shows like theirs that make all this showgoing worthwhile. Such a good band.

I thought the So Sos were pretty crappy. The band wasn't bad but that singer was such a dickbag with his ridiculously cliche speeches and acting like anyone in the place was there to see him. You're an opening band in a tiny club, don't be lecturing the crowd on not rocking out enough. Be a better band. Weirdly, during DP's set, he was trying to chat me up at the bar with all this (friendly) macho crap and I just could not have cared less.
I really cannot stand when bands act that way.  Maybe he was just too drunk?

yeah… bummed I didn't check it out as well. sigh.
yah that show was pretty fucking awesome.  good for them on the sellout.  it's awesome they recognize the crowd and who has been to what show.

kids was definitely the highlight of the night. that, and the photographer in the front early on who obviously was not aware of what she was getting into.
