This week rollcall

Los Autenticos Decadentes at the Black Cat Saturday..

If you haven't seen these guys- and they don't come here that often- you should check it out.

Most fun live show.
If anyone is in Baltimore and bored on Friday, my band Campaign Trail 72 will be playing with Solar Temple Suicides at Dionysus Restaurant and Lounge on 8 East Preston Street.  Show starts at 10.  If you like house and or shoegaze, this might be your thing.
Dick Cheese last sunday
Orphans/Audrey Chenn with some incredible drummer whose name I forgot at the Submarine (basement on Lamont St.) Sunday (post-cheese)
Anniversary party Monday
Mono last night (!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Edit:List changed to more accurately display the shows I've seen this week thus far.
Slacker.

How was mono?
Epic.

Massive.

Majestic.

Simultaneously beautiful and crushing.
Ok, fine - but was it any good?
broken bells on monday!! :D
so we got BJM on wednesday… anything else i should be aware of?
God I suck.

Bailed on everything this weekend.
So lazy.

Going to David Rawlings on Tuesday as well as BJM Wed. Maybe Patti Griffin or a house show or two this coming weekend.
I bailed on Athlete. Anyone go? (my weekends are way short lately, and I didn't want to sit through the opener, Carney.)
COCOROSIE!

i saw athlete last tues or wed. only could hear carney for the last song but they sounded good. i like earlier athlete music – but found myself getting bored at the show. they still sound great, but just a bit lackluster live. and was disappointed they only played 50 mins maybe max?

i would have been a bit more upset if i hadnt seen tokyo police club with an open bar beforehand. i

Dave Rawlings was fantastic.
