me too…I thought you sold you ticket?
Get ready for it – Adele, tonight (Tuesday).  I'm missing out on several shows being held tonight as well, but we got tickets like a year ago, and they are great seats, and I am very excited.

Heard it was a great show…even with cheap seats.  She has some giant projector screens that are a big part of the show and has a platform in the middle of the stadium that she goes to

Is the platform strong enough to support the weight?

I like to joke that her album titles are her current BMIs, but sadly the joke won't be accurate for another 15 years or so.

As someone who is 10-15 pounds overweight myself, I feel that it is ok for me to make jokes about Adele's weight, because she and I are in the same sinking boat. You however are not overweight so it's not ok for you to make Adele fat jokes.

Can you take beers to your seats yet at DAR?? Nothing to complain about unless you want to drink beer in the hallway and miss the show.
Depends on the show. I've seen both in the past couple of years. I can't tell you how happy it makes me when I get there and find that they're allowing beers in the hall proper.

Hey, Bags! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I went Monday night and loved every minute of it. I'd had kind of a crappy day before the show, but that all went away as soon as she took the stage. I was just grinning the whole concert. Cool stage show and lighting with the screens and the "rain."  I've been kicking myself for not getting a ticket to her 2011-05-12 show at the 9:30 Club for the last 5+ years, so I wasn't going to miss this one. This was the most pseudo-intimate arena concert I've ever attended. It almost sounded like a club show, and Adele seemed to connect with every section of the Verizon Center. Really impressed with her stage presence.
Sunday - The GWARs!
