This week rollcall

I'm sure this has been discussed before
Does anyone know what the service charge is for tickets at the Ust music hall if you buy them at the door/box office ahee
I went to get The Fratellis tix and they were reasonably priced at $16, but I had to add another 13.50 in order processing and service fee

Does anyone know anything about this Spiritualized tour?  Are they still touring the last record, will they have the backup singers with them etc?

Sound check from four weeks ago says so… however, this was overseas.

Here's a setlist tweet from the other night:

Tonight will be my first Spiritualized show.  :)

It is interesting how, considering their last few years' of set lists in general, Jason Pierce does not give a shit many people claim to regard Amazing Grace as mediocre, his creative nadir, etc.  Which is fine by me because I enjoy it a lot myself, particularly "Lord Let It Rain on Me" and "Rated X."
Set times for tonight??
at this juncture X/Blondie, Deadman/Tommy Keene
btw, how long do you think the sets will be? Still an 8/815 then 9 start/stop?
I'm hoping to get home semi early and Blondie's sets seem to be about 20 songs but X might be about 24. (sorry I know I'm lame just long days and commute and early starts for me lately)
Hopscotch was the best festival i have attended.  I will write up my thoughts on it later.

as for Spiritualized, Vas really enjoyed the 100 minute set.  Az and myself skipped it to do other things (I am not a fan, dont really know their music, and he was going to the show tonight anyways).

I would guess if Jaguar would read this she would be mightily surprised i didnt see them,… I did see around 25 other artists though.
Friday - Tommy Keene early show, and then the Black Cat Anniversary Show(?)
Saturday/Sunday - Day 2 and 3 of Riotfest in Chicago (85% chance)
looking forward to X/Blondie tomorrow
Very close to tonight although "Take Good Care of It," "Lay it Down" and maybe one more were in there.

Played almost exactly two hours.

And yes Hopscotch is the best fest ever.

It is the festival for people who hate festivals.

I totally don't feel like I just got back from a festival and two post-festival shows (also made it to Cigarette/Soft Spot at Paper Sun as well as Spiritualized Sunday) right now.
Depeche Mode tomorrow night.
Blondie / X tonight.  First show in a while, so we'll see if I can get myself out of the house after dark :)
Anyone check out Branford in Silver Spring last Saturday?

I also just posted some Gorguts videos from last week's killer show; that's on SLDC's youtube channel for those who are so inclined.

nice, anymore?
I loved, loved (x10) the Spiritualized show last night.  They are a top-ten band for me, and this was my first time seeing Pierce and his band live, and it completely met and shot beyond my expectations.

Maybe the best show I have attended at the 9:30 Club.
