from pure speculation, opener 8, b&s 9 or 9:15
Yeah
I have never seen the Anthem more empty than 30 mins before the opener at Belle and Sebastian.  Bit lonely and cavernous, lol.

Well I have not arrived yet. Crowd follows Julian. It’s a law.
Julian is busy at Union Stage.

Julian is en route to the yacht club from La Piquette over in Cathedral Heights. Patience, son.

Belle & Sebastian - wish they have better setlists on this tour…..

Their setlists have been great. They're playing at least one song from each album (for the most part). What more do you want? Please don't say more If You're Feeling Sinister songs.

Cavernous?
songs they haven't done/done in awhile….lol

Seymour Stein?
Photo Jenny?
Legal Man?

maybe a different song for the stage invasion??

at least they did one rare on the DC date though…and no I'm a Cuckoo.

however, I get that they have to play the same old songs (crowd pleasers) on almost every date…

Yeah, it would be great for them to play Seymour Stein, though they never play it. Same with Sunday's Pretty Icons.

The bottom line is they'll never play your perfect setlist. You looked ahead of time. What did you expect?

Compared to the past 2 shows they did at Merriweather and Echostage, it was a pretty diverse setlist. I applaud their decision to mix it up. It makes going to see them always worth it.

This was my fifth time seeing them so I have more than a good idea of what I'm going to get. As I said in the other thread, they do a much better job of changing the setlists from not only year to year and show to show, so if you go see them a few times in a regional tour, you're gonna see new songs.
