And, no, not spending $800+ on Lakehouse
Just to be clear, are you referring to MERRIWEATHER LAKEHOUSE, a member of Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection — a rural oasis in the middle of the bustling suburbia that is Columbia, MD, and just a short walk from the famed Merriweather Post Pavilion?

Any recs for hotels in Columbia md near Merriweather for the Cure next Sunday night?

And, no, not spending $800+ on Lakehouse

Main priority is it be safe and relatively near…

So far Doubletree seems like leading contender

Let me be the first to suggest Dryver…

I don’t need a driver as I plan to drive…just a safe hotel reasonably close to venue…

Jackson Browne recorded "The Road" in Room 301 when it was the Cross Keys Inn.

The room numbering might be different now.  ???
I have not looked into this, but have you considered an air-bnb?
most that are close start at $225 before fees and taxes

I think the move would be, getting something a few miles out, like Extended Stay America Suites Columbia Columbia Parkway
that's $110 for just one bed, or $135 for two queens  You could just get an uber to take you there and take you back (although that would probably end up costing another $50)

Sounds like Yada was offering a ride?

IDLES / LCD Soundsystem
Les Claypool
Rodrigo and Gabriella
Am ok paying $300. Don’t need a ride

I have trouble with cryptic posts

Probably will book at doubletree later
If you’re going to go with a cheaper option than the resplendent MERRIWEATHER LAKEHOUSE, you could use some of your cost savings to stock up at TAKOMA WELLNESS, DC’s finest family owned dispensary, before the show.
Yeah I don’t do that anymore….well it has been a year

Makes me paranoid and act even more stupid than normal

I actually think I know someone who works there…

I'm sure the Brazilian girls are fiy, but I recall Hutch asking for a report on the Portuguese women. I go forward with open eyes.
The Cure

Now I just need to meet Robert Smith - well not me but my partner who literally thinks Robert Smith is God…well at least she did as a teenager…

The Cure as well
I’ll be in the chattel cure section

Going to try to get there early in hopes of grabbing some “inside lawn” seats
Trying to get Cure tickets!
People are starting to sell their Cure tickets. There was a pair this morning and a pair just went up now; can only buy as pair. There was a single but someone beat me to it a few minutes ago. Harumpph.
