I just now saw this. Its a very weird experience to have someone quote you without direct attribution, not remember saying it at all, but knowing instinctively "that has got to be something I said at some point."

I saw the Clown Prince was at Little Miss Whiskeys last night!
I wish I had the motivation to get to the Rock and Roll Hotel tonight… that will be the place to be IMO.

The Smithereens
they always put on a great show, the original bassist will be there, cost is an Andrew Jackson, its walking distance from me…
my kid has his international night at school so i will go after that

I think he's good I just, in no way, rival your level of fanboy over him. I think there's a bunch of better records recorded in RVA over the past five years (Natalie Prass, Julien Baker, Way Shape or Form, Lucy Dacus, et al) than Matthew E. White.
