me also….. didn't realize Chris Forsyth was opening, just saw him opening for Luna a couple times in November…..
After 17+ years, I'm going to finally see Cracker/Camper. With (in Borat voice) mah wife. She 's pretty big and tough, if not a bit softened by suburban life. I'm sure she'll make a great bodyguard, but if anyone else want to serve as additional protection, please do so. I'll be the middle aged guy with a slight paunch, long hair, and hipster glasses.
you'll stand out like a sore thumb at that show
To be honest, I'm tired of this Camper/Cracker thing.  I'm a big fan of Camper, a much more interesting band IMHO.  I'd rather see a big fat set of their material in a real headlining role.
I agree but this is probably the only way to get CVB….and ticket prices have been low…I say be happy that we got Camper at all..get there early

Having said this the last Cracker album is great particularly the Bakersfield cd..

I have to face the facts…Lowery is one of the best songwriters around
Same here.

I'd love to see Camper do their own headline show…..it's been awhile.    Have no desire to see Cracker at all.

Even though it's a co-headline, they're only gonna play 1 hour tops  (looking like 14-16 songs)

The last headline show was in 2004 I believe….

I still have the CVB third album I bought on cassette in 1986, so go way back with them, though have never seen them live (maybe I did back in 2000, but the bottle to the face erased any memory of it.)

I saw Cracker twice back in 1992 touring on the first album. Haven't seen them since, except for the time I almost saw them. So it will be 25 years since my last Cracker show.

Perhaps I'm in the minority, I'd rather see a full Cracker show. At my age, I'll take solid, straight ahead good alt-rock over "interesting."But maybe my mind will be changed tomorrow.
Wait. Bottle to the face??

Pretty much a minor blip compared to recent tragedy in my life, but here's the story:

A drunk dude once smashed his bottle over my forehead at a 9:30 Cracker/Camper show, requiring multiple stitches after five or six hours of being ignored at Howard Hospital.

Count me in favor of plastic cups.
I like cracker a lot…saw them in 92 for first time…just think the natural thing would be to alternate the opening slot..but cracker sold 5 million records and camper sold 500,000
