Second year in a row I had tickets but am missing ATDI because of a work trip.  It doesn't seem meant to be for me.
For those on the fence about magnetic fields,I highly recommend the performance. It's more than a concert, it's a theatrical experience. From the set design to the mixed media presentation. Merritt's his curmudgeonly affable self. Don't judge the music until you see him bring it to life…

Same here, I'd really like to see Nails. I suspect for me it will be one of those shows where the first 25 minutes are totally mindblowing and then I'll be like, ok I got it, and will then leave early. But we'll see!

Is Claudia no longer part of the band??

Nine Inch Nails is touring?
nouvelle vague at the howard.

surprised this show didn't show up on goldstar as it seems most shows i want to see at the howard end up way undersold and thus on discount via goldstar.

well its been quite a few years since they've played DC so maybe they attracted a decent crowd…. I was going to go but I found the new album so underwhelming it kind of took away my buzz…

also, the Howard doesn't seem to be doing the Goldstar thing that much anymore?

Nails will probably play for 30 or 40 minutes.  They average 16 songs a set; and most of their songs are less than two minutes long (with tons of those being less than one minute long).

Thanks for this but I couldn't make it work. How was the show?

I can't imagine listening to these guys for more than 30 or 40 minutes. I feel like after half an hour, I'd be all "Ok, I have received what Nails is providing. I got it."
Foxygen on Wednesday.
