This week rollcall

well i am no expert but often times when a band is setting up a tour they field offers…and the venues/promoters tell them how much they are guaranteed etc and bands usually go with the highest offer

ultimately the band -to me- is the responsible party- for the prices…i've mentioned before how people get outraged at ticketmaster for service charges but the band gets a nice cut of that..

Ruth B!
you know you want to be with all these sub 16 year old girls!
Wilco, Wolftrap
friday - w. kamau bell @ arlington cinema & drafthouse
saturday - fauquier youth jazz band @ verdun adventure bound
sunday - bluegrass jam @ eva walker park
I'd love to see Franz Ferdinand this week.. one of the best live bands I've seen… the group has changed a bit since I last saw them…

maybe Cracker.. I know I know.. but I love anything David Lowery does.. well almost…

Teen feet tall (local band) final show on the 16th..

Make sure you check out the openers Kacey and Clayton. They're a girl/boy Appalachian folk duo who are cousins. Not sure if they're a couple.

I think they were actually from Saskatchawan, but the joke still stands.
