Damn, I might have to go to Cibo Matto… I didn't realize it was the show to go to on Saturday.  I had other friends saying they were going as well.

That Bleeding Rainbow/Hunters/Hive Bent/Natural Velvet show tomorrow at the Gold Bar is tempting.  Has anyone went to the venue yet? Thoughts?

I've seen the inside of the Gold Bar ……. looks like the capacity is the same as The Crown or a little bigger.

yeah, Gold Bar and Crown are fairly comparable, from what I understand.

I figured it was as big.  I was more curious about stage (is there one? Height?) and sound system (good? decent?  shitty?)… One of these days I will go there if not tomorrow.

I think it's funny to compare how many of us are going to Cibo Matto and the lack of any tsk tsking over that with the backlash against Pizza Underground from the contrarian, music-snob wing of this board.

I don't really care if people go to Pizza Underground.  And I really like Cibo Matto!  They make me smile.

I also like Cibo Matto. I'm just saying take whatever complaint a troll makes about Pizza Underground and tell me how that same complaint doesn't apply to Cibo Matto. And yet no one is making that argument because its not as incendiary.

It seems all my shows from Jan. to April were announced last year. I haven't seen much new announcements to my interest lately :/ except Silver Mt. Zion.

My cousin went.  She got there at 5 and was at the register.  She met him around 9!  Said it was really fun though.
