This week rollcall

Christ, it was almost ten years ago.  Nothing quite so sobering as realizing how old I'm getting.

One of my favorite moments last night was a lady standing near me: she complained that the first set was too slow and quite, since she likes the louder songs.  They told her friend, during one of the guitar solos, that it was too noisy and that's how you get bottles thrown at your head.  Can't win 'em all, I guess.

Agreed…I just assumed the woman was a big fan of Sugar Cube and that was about it :)

I'll be at Bosnian Rainbows w/ Marriages tomorrow. Should be a very interesting show.

Not bad for an Iphone but I am hoping for something with higher fidelity to materialize. More specifically hoping that our resident boardie taper who would rather not be named was there.

The Funk-Punk thing at the club on Sunday. 

I was torn between this and the Iceland Airwaves at the Kennedy Center, but decided to go the KC route as I've seen a lot of the bands several times that are playing at the club. Though I do love Trouble Funk.
