I don’t go back in time and judge all male bands from the 1970s - times where very different-but now…for newer bands there is no reason not to have women involved…it’s anachronistic not to…. there was some controversy over this very issue with David Byrne’s last touring band
When I see five guys on stage now I cannot help but think “how limiting” so moving forward I hope and expect bands will include women
