Soo.. Metz pretty much kicked ass lastnight.

Not pretty much. Did. Thoroughly. I would absolutely go see them again.

was good stuff.

live recording download from bowery ballroom the night before:  http://www.nyctaper.com/2013/04/metz-april-17-2013-bowery-ballroom-flacmp3streaming/

Thank you!  Was unable to attend the show on Thursday.  Hopefully will see them next time!
I suppose I will be at the Ottobar tomorrow for the Joy Formidable show, as it appears I have just won a free ticket.
GOAT
Killing Joke in Philly was pretty awesome.

I'm going to try and make it to GOAT on Thursday. Back stage BC will be pretty crazy for them!
Think that will sell out? Saw on BV that the Bowery sold out.
Furthur in Atlantic City on Saturday.
Az you should grab a ticket, just in case.
Tonight: C-A-P-S!
Anyone check out Solange last night?
i won a ticket to How to Destroy Angels.  I will finally check out that venue.  But with moving on Sunday/Monday, I might have to skip out on both area TV Ghost/Wax Idols shows.  I hope not.
I guess I scored one of the last few Goat tickets. Show sold out.
I couldn't get outta work early enough to go to GOAT and the show sold out too? I was doubly screwed! Bah!

I think I'll hit the Golden West on Sunday for Inter Arma and Earthling. I missed them at the Lab on Monday so I better catch that gig. Those bands shred!

You better check the status of the show,  Bobby's in BAD shape!
Well I thought that Goat show was phenomenal.
I enjoyed it especially the last song in the main set/encore. Thought they could have stretched other songs out the way they did with those last two. One of a few bands that would benefit from a longer set. Holy Wave were cool too.
Holy shit, Goat is playing in Newport Kentucky tonight. That's more than 500 miles away in less than 24 hours. They must have sprinted to the bus after the show ended last night.

And then they have to travel 1,100 miles in less than 2 days to get to Austin.

yeah that show was great.

couldn't help but think how great they would have been at usmh instead, with a little more space and a less-cramped venue.
Beach House
Beach House were incredible….probably the best I've seen them.
