fyi, there weren't any. there were, however, several dozen people standing outside the venue asking for tickets - on top of the scalpers asking for extras. chances of getting an extra at cost were very very low.

I think most people would agree that on the average internet messageboard, there are more males then females, particularly among those who would qualify as "regular" posters of a messageboard. That being the case, if one assumes every unknown user is a male, they mathematically would be more accurate then taking the opposite approach. It's statistical.

I felt awful that night and so did the lead singer whose name escapes me if I remember correctly. The set they played opening for REM was very enjoyable at Merriweather so I figure I'll give them another shot in a club.

It's a very nice venue, although I warn you, the sound is MUCH better in the balcony or mezzanine then the orchestra pit, particularly the vocals.

I don't know. When I was walking out of Indiana Jones on the opening weekend of Sex and the City, I was thinking to myself, maybe I missed the boat on not pretending I was interested in Sex and the City. There were quite a few attractive and desperate groups of females there that might have found my act of pretending to be interested in what's bothering them rather charming. I'm sure someone else has been capitalizing on this for some time now.

There are hundreds of thousands of unique ladies on those S&TC message boards.

But there's 100 Battlestar Nerdtacula's users on 800 different message boards with 14 different user names each so the conversation never ends…

Yes, I am female (go figure!), and I find nothing insulting about the word "bitch." It's…a word. And it was used as a joke. Yeah…failing to see how that upset people.

I am, however, offended by the term "Battlestar Nerdtacula."
