This week rollcall

This will be my fifth time seeing QOTSA. First saw them at the HFSmas Nutcracker in 2002. That was also the year James Brown played and was backed up by The Pietasters.

For a radio station concert, that was a totally great night. Zwan, Coldplay, Boxcar Racer, NFG, Vines, Distillers too.

What the fuck are you talkking about Bearman? Did you miss the Open Bar FWB VIP area??

;D ;D ;D

I'm not sure, she said she found something but it was listed under "Merriweather VIP", so I don't know if that's different. I had no idea, figured I'd ask here.
It's probably the bar area most of us were invited to.  No free beer…but I am happy with closer bathrooms.
Any one know the set times for the Fort Reno shows

was hoping to catch the Priests tonight, but wasn't sure if they were on first or last?
I'm sure they're last. Maybe around 9?  shows end at 930

What the crud. I didn't get an email.  ???
So can you actually see the stage from the VIP Deck?

No. There are video monitors and of course you can hear the music. I suspect if you could see the stage, people wouldn't want to leave the area. But it's a really nice deck and the fact that you have access to some bathrooms that don't typically have a line is a big bonus. Plus, it's right by the GA pit area so if you want to sneak out mid-song to go to the bathroom, it's just a hop, skip, and a jump.

Bummed to be missing this. Perfect nite for a ft reno show.
Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - Wed, though not really that excited based on recent setlist
The Antlers on Friday
Nick Cave Wednesday. As long as they play Jubilee Street again, I'm good.
Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds w/ the wife
Grandma's taking the kidos ;D

I too am not super excited about all the songs from push the sky away.  But it's the new album and it's the time to showcase it.

papa, tupelo, Deanna, Stagga, Mercy seat, Rt Red Hand….just one of these would make my night and looks like I'm getting them all.

I'd still love to hear breathless and just about any other song off Murder Ballads
ceremony tonite
neutral milk hotel on friday
Old 97s/Tommy Stinson tomorrow
Merge Fest 25 on saturday
Beck, Phish, Phish.  :o :o 8)
Clientele.
Chain and the Gang, possibly.
Definitely Chain and the Gang on Sunday.
Possibly Soccer Team/Ex Hex at RnR Hotel on Thursday.
Fresh & Onlys on Thursday. Really looking forward to that.
Might do Clientele tonight but I doubt it.
what time do you guys think Beck will go on at MPP on Thursday? It says doors 6 and there is one opening act which I will unfortunately have to miss (Sean Lennon duo)
