8/29 - Vampire Weekend (now I'm really mad I bought tickets at face for super high prices)

what is odd is that show doesn't even have tickets listed on seatgeek since last night
Firesale on stubhub…$100 pit tix going for $45

Is that what happened?

I figured it might be…

I think it's more they should and deserve to be playing in a 5k club max, not a 20k amphitheater. Guys like me win again.
well it looks like they sold a lot of tix on the pavilion…

all of these still available… plus the other 500 getting eaten by scalpers.

Yeah, this would have been a killer Anthem show. Pity.
band still gets the same pay (well much lower merch sales for sure)…but honestly that's just conjecture
IMP takes this one on the chin

just because it isn't close to sold out doesnt mean that anyone is chinning here.

it sold a lot of tickets, especially at $79.50, it's gonna be a strong walk-up on a beautiful night, and Bagley and I and our fams are good for at least 6 impossible burgers, 4 pizzas, and $2300 in IPAs, along with the obligatory posters T-shirts and fanny packs.

Kwaanza, Kwaanza!

guess you are driving with that low budget for drinks
a couple of my friends hate the Anthem….just because of the parking situation…

with the distance you have to walk from where you park at MPP to your seat…you can EASILY park for free in DC and walk/metro/uber
The whole area is bad imo and the parking isn't helping!
