its nice to see Clem Burke… he's a really good drummer actually.. has even drummed for Bob Dylan…

And the Ramones!
Am I the only one going to Depeche Mode tonight?

Her voice really wasn't there, but man…she is still hot and showing off her legs like a 20 something

always been something about her, possibly related to pre-pubescent fantasies

the knee pads always did if for me

i saw her last year at the state.. to me she looks terrible and that is part of the problem.. i mean she looks great for 68 but when i go see blondie a big part of it is the image of the complete package drop dead gorgeous blonde bombshell… and that is a big part of the deal with blondie because they are not great live musicians… to see debbie wearing wigs… i mean i'm glad she's out making a living and she's a real nice lady and all…. but there is no way she can turn back father time….
basically when i go see blondie i don't want to be seeing my mom up there on stage! its just weird!

I'd actually love to see this, last time I saw them was in 2001, but JLL is just too far out for a school night. I wish this had been a Verizon show.
For the first time ever it wasn't terrible getting to or home from JLL.  Depeche Mode was great, and an extra treat to see Bat for Lashes open!

Not even the very very very drunk bros next to us complaining that they weren't playing songs they liked could ruin that show.  I had never seen them before and loved the new songs and old.
looking ahead to next week, apparently I'll be singing a song with Teething Veils on Tuesday at the Velvet Lounge (same song I sang on on their latest record).  Should be fun.
Muse tonight! My friend surprised me with a ticket today!

Awesome! I might come out for that… Is Davis playing drums with them?
Yup, he'll be playing drums with Sansyou and with Teething Veils at that show.
I feel like every show Davis plays lately conflicts with something else I want to see.

Planning on hitting up this before the BC anniversary party on Friday. Joe, come by and grab your ticket from me if you are trying to get to the Cat early.

Oh yeah, that is screaming females night.  I might not do anything since that weekend is packed for me.
Muse

Ooh ooh, he's playing drums at the Galaxy Hut on Sunday Sept 29th with The New Lines, maybe that's a possibility?  Unless you're at Rock the Bells ;-)
Superchunk.

Never fails.

Hahaha I had this conversation with him a little while ago.
That is the same day as Wing Dam.
yeah, I am so ambivalent towards Superchunk that I forget that other people actually want to see them.  Ah well.

There's rumored to be another Sansyou show coming up in October, but I was told about it off the ShowlistDC record, so no more details yet.
Well so much for my St. Stephens plans. I thought Cat doors were at 9 before. #SadPanda
