Duke Spirit at the Ottobar tomorrow…never been to the Ottobar, any advice?

BRMC at Irving Plaza on Tuesday.
BRMC with STP in NY on Wednesday, perhaps?
My birthday, who knows where on Thursday.

Well, did end up going to BRMC last night at Jones Beach with Stone Temple Pilots, as a birthday present.

Seeing them again tomorrow in Bethlehem, PA, because I just can't stop celebrating.

I need a damn life.

This week:

Was torn between Weedeater and Grizzly Bear tonight but chose the sit-on-ass-in front of tv route instead.

Wednesday:
Either Vivian Girls or The Ex (with that pretty sick horns section).
Thursday: Maybe Jana Hunter

Considering a weekend in NYC centered around either Tony Conrad/Metro Area/Kelley Polar or Battles/Black Dice/Gang Gang Dance (most likely the latter since Tony Conrad is playing in Baltimore soon).

Been blowing off shows left and right this month and it sucks.

The next thing I go to will probably be the Insect Factory/Dan Friel show at Velvet sunday.

This show has been such a pain in my ass that I'm not looking forward to it all. Luckily I've seen them enough to know that I'll get over it once they start. If not, GET OUTTA MY WAY! :cool:

Hold Steady for me!

any thoughts on when Thao will start at the Cat? Would I be able to catch part of her set after The Hold Steady (looks like they start at 9.30)

We had planned on that, but instead we're going to Seattle at the end of the month.
