What Are You Listening To?

A Shoegaze cover of the Lady Gaga song "Papparazzi" … I've never heard the original so can't really say how different it is.
Haha! I knew that would get to someone. Seriously though, I am just rarely ever subjected to other's music so don't have to put up with it. When I am, it's rarely mainstream music, even when it's music completely different from my own. That's why I never got all that upset with Coldplay's 'Rush…' like so many others did. It just wasn't in my environments. Don't complain, Jules. It's actually kind of nice not being barraged with lots and lots of crap that I don't want to hear; or, in some cases, over hear.

love it.
I don't know the Gaga song either. I've only heard her music for 2 seconds on Ellen.

Sooooo goooooood

120 Days
I stumbled into this album on my iPod today, and since I'm trying to clear out some of the inessential stuff on here, decided to list. Apparently, I downloaded this sometime in the past, listened to it and loved it…every song was rated 5 stars. Either this album somehow was accidentally rated, or my taste in music just a few years ago blew.
Lady Antebellum :-*
(don't hate!) ;D
Muswell Hillbillies

total run time clocks in at almost 4 hours… i probably have that much work ahead of me tonight.

Can't honestly remember the last time I listen to this record, but thanks to eMusic it's like catching up with a long lost friend at the moment.

Daughters - s/t
A new find. Very catchy, almost poppy, despite pummeling guitar/damage noise and David Yow-ish vocals. Really good, fast RAWK. RIYL Jesus Lizard, Brainiac, Parts & Labor

Read about this on PFK today (got 8.7 for what its worth) and pulled it down. I liked their previous one but it kind of faded after awhile. I've only listened to this through once but its also very good though. These guys like anthems, and most of the songs are of the uplifting, sing-a-long variety. Sometimes it sounds a little too earnest and good ol' American, like a harder rocking Bright Eyes, but it sounds pretty good. I expect to like it for a few weeks and then move on (or put Daughters back on).
Next up is the new Caribou, which I'm looking forward to as I loved Andorra
What do you mean "I pulled it down?"
Is that a new phrase for buying music?
