What Are You Listening To?

Good enough for me.  I appreciate that you took the time to reply.  Over - done with - gone…

Oh man I haven't heard those songs in years. That's some hilarious/difficult listening.
I been listening to the War on Drugs album which has been getting some hype in the end of year lists…….of course Kurt Vile having been in the band made me think they were awful…but it is an interesting album……at times he sings with Dylan cadences…there is a certain Brooce factor too….I have to listen to it some more though before eliciting any definitive opinions.
the Watson Twins
The Skull Defekts - Dances In Dreams Of The Known Unknown

I need to get their newest release, Street Metal.
time to put on some KC and the Sunshine Band…

Still think this is my favorite album of the year.
Daft Punk - Random Access Memories

I am finally getting around to checking this album out.  After the disappointing Human After All, I was ready to write them off.

I am digging the first few tracks.
new Bowie comp Nothing has changed. (3 disc version) very cool listening in reverse-chronological order -  his last 2 decades have really been overlooked (not by me), the mid-80's not as dire as I remember (other than that duet w/jagger) and the 70's and earlier never sounded better.  New song "Sue (or in a season of crime)" is a modern jazz murder ballad.  Someone on the board recently mentioned that show at the Patriot Center - I was there, too - incredible best of show with new arrangements, super band with earl slick, mike garson, cool dvd of that tour too.
Not sure whether I love or hate this.
