Couple things I'm enjoying lately:

Dirty on Purpose "Hallelujah Sirens" - Kind of shoe-gazey epic pop. Reminds me of Cedars.
This is one of my favorite albums to listen to during the fall. Try listening to this while driving down the B/W Parkway when the leaves are changing and the temperature is a pleasant 60 degrees. It's pretty awesome.
I think I will do just that. I can see how it would be pretty great.

Brightblack Morning Light - Motion to Rejoin

Glorious.

Slow-burning drony soul like on their last album but there's a lot more going on in many of the tracks here.
Aphex Twin & Luke Vibert live @ Ultrasound 2000

Mew - And the Glass Handed Kites

Still one of my favorites of the decade. They need to hurry up and record another masterpiece.

"for your pleasure"

not a huge roxy music fan, but this album is pretty amazing, save "the bogus man"
Nice pick Booker T. Coincidentally I just bought this album 2 weeks ago and have been listening to it ever since. At first I didn't like it but it really grew on me like fungus with repeated listens. Funny how certain albums are like that…
The new TV on the Radio is in the batting circle and it is tremendous. These guys just push the sonic and song-writing envelope. Never took to the debut but LOVED Cookie Mountain and Young Liars. This one will likely top it.
Took me a couple listens to warm up to it but I agree.

"Dancing Choose" is pretty awful, though.

I like everything else.

The last three songs are three of the best songs they've recorded to date.
I've been ALL about this guy, Skúli Sverrisson's album "Seria". It's a good one!

Here's a sample of one of the instrumentals:
Seria - the title track

Sooooo good.
What is it? "Sunshine, Palm Trees and Mountains" by the Polynesians?

It's Beulah's "The Coast Is Never Clear." Happiest sad album ever.

Keith Fullerton Whitman - Lisbon
Grails - Black Tar Prophecies

Such a criminally overlooked band.

Their most recent album, Take Refuge in Clean Living is one of the best of the year, IMO. They aalso have another album due out in a couple weeks.
Hoyasax, only now been noticing what you've been digging…that is SO cool.
