The City Champs
Jack Drag - Dope Box
I remember catching a random video from them and instantly though they sounded like a heavier version of the Stone Roses and promptly bought the CD at a Best Buy. Does this album ever hold up or what!

Death In Vegas - Dead Elvis
"All That Glitters Is Not Gold"

Just read the Thurston Moore biography, and been on a major Sonic Youth kick the last few days. I think my top 5 favorites are EVOL, Daydream Nation, Sister, Murray Street, and possibly either Goo or Rather Ripped. Tough call though. But EVOL and Daydream Nation constantly battle it out for my favorite. "Shadow of a Doubt", "Starpower" and "Green Light" are the songs that I'm obsessed with on EVOL, and "Candle", "The Wonder" and "Eric's Trip" still take my breath away.

I’m digging it, layers of guitars, melodic
bass lines and Liam sounding great. Wicked guitar solo. I hear shades of both Stone Roses records in Squires playing.
If the rest of the album sounds like this it’s gonna be great

It’s great to hear new Squire. It’s nice to hear Liam singing with purpose. Glad it exists.
Shades of Squire’s work in Stone Roses. Unabashed references to Revolver songs like Tomorrow Never Knows and She Said She Said. And more surprisingly an interlude that sounds like The Who Tommy, like Amazing Journey. Made me think how much better off Second Coming might have been if they went in a Who direction instead of Zeppelin (esp with Reni as Moon)
Liam reeling off the colors ‘ . . INDIGO, violet!’ is either hilariously awesome or hilariously not awesome . . .

Ok, my pre-review of this song needs a retraction…I'm digging this
are we going to get a tour?
are we going to get a tour?
The more I listen to it’s the rhythm section that really holds it together. Seen a lot of people referencing The Beatles “Rain” and I can definitely hear that.

Gallagher/Squire….
It's ok, I guess… But it's nowhere near what Squire last left us…

This is a fan-made edit using footage from You Tube and donated by concertgoers. Made for the love of the band and free for the fans during covid lockdown as a project that helped keep me sane. I discovered through many hours of editing and different shots and angles just how together they were as a band on that night. The shared looks, the way they supported each other and adjusted if anything went wrong. I felt privileged to have seen that close-up and tried to highlight as many of those looks and moments in the edit. This truly was one of their best performances not only at the reunion. The footage and music are solely owned by the band. I want to thank them for allowing this to stay up for all the fans. One Love.

After all that w/o identifying the act, this should definitely go to NGGYU.
fair, but the One Love sig should have helped
But Bob Marley's been dead more than 40 years.
