Brubeck- Time Out

I love Paul Desmond….

I wish I had more space for my records cause I've definitely gotten rid of some Brubeck and Desmond ones in the past….

At da gym, listening to Metallica's new one.

Fuck, yeah.

This album, might be the best one they have released in a very long time . . . might even be one of the best of the year, in my opinion.
grace jones - nightclubbing
realized when i got home that i had just purchased another copy of island life - the cover made me do it.
love that sly and robbie era.
That, grace jones album, fucking rules.
I am falling, in love with, the war on drugs.

good stuff, i agree.
jan garbarek - dis
with ralph towner on guitars, some wind chime and brass ensemble.
love me some ecm records.
especially for $5.

added one of my white whales to my collection..an original Mobley Soul Station on Blue Note original mono deep groove……. all of these tend to end up on Ebay but I got it at CD Cellar…..they can go for as much as a grand depending on condition… so I expected to listen to my reissue for the rest of my days…

if I wrote a book called 1001 records you must hear before you die this would be in it…Mobley with Blakey (rare sideman appearance for Art)….
I actually added another white whale .. more on that one later in the week.. but that one I paid like $70 and bought on the internet (Discogs) something I rarely do….
hank's sides with lee morgan are among my favorites.
would rather listen to them rather than most classic trumpet/tenor pairings.
nice score on that one!
