This is one of my wife’s all time favorite songs and that annoying 9 minute live version on Spotify manages to make every playlist she makes. This has always been nails on a chalkboard to me.

Ok…a band with a horrible name and equally horrible album artwork.
But Goat Girl is on heavy rotation right now

I did like their first release, but this one is soo much better
Also, there is a live set Live from the Nunhead Alhambra on youtube with 4 or so songs that is great too

Great day to be outside - and things will only get better this week.
A little Wes Montgomery. Some Massive Attack. And now for a little Opeth….

Quantic Presenta Flowering Inferno - 1000 Watts
one of my favorite dub albums includes a track with U-Roy
https://quanticmusic.bandcamp.com/album/1000-wattsThe third album from the tropical dub-infused Quantic Presenta Flowering Inferno project, ‘1000 Watts’ sees musical explorer Will “Quantic” Holland making a more concerted foray into pure reggae-roots territory. Recorded direct to tape, the LP draws together a set of classic style rhythms for the dancefloor, and for this outing Holland enlisted the most prestigious roll-call of guest performers yet. Alongside U-Roy and Alice Russell, the featured artists include popular reggae singers Hollie Cook and Christopher Ellis; the late, great keyboard maestro Ikey Owens (whose tragic 2014 passing followed a career working with everyone from Run The Jewels to The Mars Volta to Jack White); and legendary Jamaican drummer Santa Davis, known for his work with the likes of Bob Marley and The Aggravators.
