What's coda collection?

https://codacollection.co/

it's a 'channel' you can subscribe to via amazon prime
what's nice is it's a free 7 day trial (then $5 a month)
So free to watch tonight if you have prime
looked like some interesting stuff…but this is one of the few live concerts I'm excited about

Did a little more poking around…these 'Collections" look too be good
lots for dead fans and the Cure, radiohead, stones, AcDc and Who
plus a lot of other bob marley content from that era too

Picked this up to fill out/complete my VH

A new album hasn't hit me like this in a while… great listen.

Can confirm, good stuff!
He is channeling Robert Palmer IMO

Another big thumbs up for this one. A white male singer my wife actually digs too!

Sorry my mom is visiting so I am out of sorts…I am trying my best to keep bringing my A game
Gaga Remix Album

The Queen.  The, end.
Lots of new tunes to soak in today… Kacey, St. Etienne, Spanish Model…

but i'm starting with Parvyn - Sa

Best known as a singer with the Aussie funk with a touch o Bollywood outfit The Bombay Royale, her debut on first listen could be described as the Indian version of Morcheeba… lots of world music inspired electronica to enjoy

isn't it a little to early for Aussie funk/bollywood/Indian version of Morcheeba?

Kosmo is still up from last night
The man does not rest!
Did Kosmo get the DJ gig at the Foos?
nope and i blame spotify..

and don't combine Parvyn's sound with Bombay Royale and her solo album..  but a Aussie funk/bollywood/Indian version of Morcheeba would probably be amazing

so the St. Etienne album is a bit meh.. kinda faded into the backgrround…

the Kacey album has some funky flute on it and will probably need some more scrutiny
I feel like this has been the case with St Etienne for a while….

I want to like their stuff more than I do…the stuff just doesn’t grab me
How about the new Little Simz album?

that's so last week
So the Spanish Model album is working for me so far…

the vocals are a neat touch and the original tracks have been remastered or remixed.. i.e. the drums are more prominent and sounding i guess punchier\ brighter\ sharper then the original mix… hearing much more of the Farfisa sound.. it also seems like they have speed up  Lipstick Vogue

and yes i'll to listen to original

that almost doesn't seem possible as the tempo of that one is really fast already

just saw a documentary is coming out on this
https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/elvis-costello-spanish-model-documentary-1214649/

this really is my fav EC album

I notice it's not up on the streaming sites (although it's up on youtube for now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iquFVWyz3Ys)

that little 'rap-brige' in Chelsea is great
