Sundae Crush - A Real Sensation (debut album)
What Are You Listening To?
Kiwi Jr.-Football Money
ABC - the Lexicon of Love
Producer Trevor Horn really cast a big shadow in the 80s
The song “the Look of Love” continues to be perfection
I saw what was left of ABC at Wolftrap as part of one of those retro tours about 10 years ago… other names that night included Wang Chung, Berlin and Cutting Crew… not sure if I am forgetting the headliner or it was ABC

I found this record inside a Marvin Gaye cover (early crooner Gaye “My kind of Broadway”) which sucks cause I wanted the Gaye record but turns out it’s a pretty cool record..of course it’s a bit banged up…

Liona Boyd - A guitar for Christmas 🎄
Protomartyr
The War on Drugs - Lost in the Dream
Great winter album… so Springsteen influenced
Unfortunately or fortunately always makes me think of my friend dying almost six years ago cause first time I listened to album was on way to hospital to see him

The Nutcracker
In a bit of a late The Jam rut, Sound Effects and The Gift on repeat at the moment.
Ought to throw on the 2 that proceeded those for good measure.

I wonder why these guys push all the right buttons for me…
I think covid makes a Love and Rockets reunion even less likely… post covid will see these guys doing the big Bauhaus reunion that was postponed just as it was getting started
Interesting to contemplate all the tours and albums that will never happen because covid happened

This record is on repeat at the house. Particularly, "Precious."
^One of the best deep cuts (not a single and hardly ever on radio or compilations) ever!

Thanks for the links.
Unbelievably, I have never seen the Pretenders perform live music in my presence.
If we make it out of this thing alive (me and the Pretenders), I will remedy that.

I'm still kicking myself for not catching them at the FSS last time around
I too have never seen them live
They were supposed to play Jiffy on Aug 2nd this year…
