my fav album of theirs. i don't think there is anything wrong with you. distant early warning and red sector A are beautiful tracks.
I got hooked on Tears For Fears - The Seeds Of Love with the release of the super deluxe edition.. this is an album i only ever heard the singles from on the radio, etc.. amazing stuff here
As much as I’ve listened to the records that preceded it, I’ve never bothered with that one. Perhaps I should.
Beatles - Rubber Soul

Ha thanks! Its always been a "guilty pleasure" for me - these me back to when I was 15 yrs old…
Guilty of what, good taste?!?
I mean, you could argue that Moving Pictures and Signals blow GUP out of the water…
To me the run from Permanent Waves to Power Windows is exemplary
I know people slag on the end of the run but that’s where I hopped on board and I love them… it would be boring to just listen to Moving Pictures!

well sure, you can argue anything :)
i can understand (but disagree with) someone saying MP is better, but signals? c'mon, synths over guitars? please.
Are there any women in the entire world who listen to Rush?
Who cares? Why trot out the lazy stereotype?
Listening to Tom Petty Highway Companion
Just love this one
“Down south” is an amazing song
This album has some of Mike Campbell’s most tasteful and economic guitar playing
Among other things, I love that Petty plays drums on the entire album
Highway companion is an overlooked jewel
It’s hard to think of many people that wrote high quality songs so consistently for as long as Tom Petty.

I've been told that I'm not allowed to play "The Hold Steady or any of your banjo bullshit" on our car ride tomorrow. "Only electronic music, music made by black people, or music made by women."
you should check out Bette Smith - The Good, The Bad and the Bette as it meets a couple of those criteria, plus you can sneak in a little Drive-By Truckers as it's produced by their bassist and Patterson makes an appearance. nice rockin' soul on that album..
REally liking this one.
Thumbs up for the new Springsteen.
Strokes-New Abnormal
More I listen to this over months I think it’s pretty good! It’s holding up

I'm not a big Britpop fan but this concept album recorded during the pandemic by two Norway based Brits is pretty good…
