Will it make me fall out of love with Ms. Stern?
the guitar work is interesting, but she's a tad lacking in the vocal skillz dept. i've heard performances of the same caliber at a local karaoke night - solid, but not pro.
She's no Pink, that's for sure.

The Olivia Tremor Control - extended version of "Can You Come Down with Us?" from the Hideaway EP

pretty much what you'd expect… sound like thom yorke, only more so (and glitchier and more experimental). this isn't a dance remix album, unless you spin some really weird sets. the tet and the field remixes are sweet, burial is solid but nothing new. good album.

Bloc Party- Intimacy
Overall, not as good as the first two. Still, most fans will enjoy it, some of the songs feels unfinished and weaker songwriting is disguised with glossier production. Ion Square is a great song.

Cure 4.13 Dream
What can you say. Not going to convert anybody, but quite good, much improved from their previous outing. In the vein of Wish.

The Wombats- A guide to love, loss & desperation

Caffeinated rock, some resemblance to the Futureheads but better. Fans of Los Campesinos should give it a listen.
Say Hi to Your Mom. They are just brilliant and really fun to listen to.

The High Llamas - Can Cladders

Does anyone else like this band a lot more than Stereolab or is it just me?

They are sort of about equal to me though I may lean more towards The High Llamas. Though I think they are very good, I've never really been a big Stereolab fan. Depends on my mood and the particular song.
I really want to but just can't at all get into Stereolab.

Sounds excellent.
They toured together in 1997.

Currently going back and revisiting some New Order albums/comps I've got on my iPod.

"Temptation" gets me every time.
