It's taking all of my power to not buy this. I do not need a second copy of this album (right?)

You definitely don’t need it if you have another copy. This edition is through Newbury Records. 500 copies
And it was ridiculously priced

Got my first shipment from oldies.com
This was a good score for $5. Christmas at the airport is a cool tune.
None of my other orders have shipped…

Another great buy from oldies for $7.80. Maybe the best soul jazz lineup ever ? Leo Morris is Idris Muhammad.
I have an original copy but is a bit beat so this is an upgrade.

Got this for $5.60 from the Oldies sale and I am shocked to find these songs mostly have a pulse and sound like early Wilco. Best thing I have heard from Tweedy in a while. These songs sound off the cuff, have charm etc. There are even some nice Tweedy guitar solos.
Oldies owes me five more orders but am getting worried they will cancel them all as it’s been a while now.

Dizzy passed away January 6, 1993. His last concert was August 1992. There’s a cool article in the WP from early 1992 about Dizzy in DC.

An early Latin music lp (10”) from 1950. Columbia only started putting out LPs in I think late 1948. The FL 9500 series was Columbia’s original “international series”….stuff like Piaf, Josephine Baker etc.
Unfortunately pretty stained. Plays well for 73 years old. Not any names I am familiar with but good stuff.

A pretty cool find last week for $3. This 1960s LP reissue combines two Monk 10” LPs from 1953 and 1954. Luckily it’s in mono and not rechanneled (fake) stereo. One session includes Art Blakey and the other Sonny Rollins.
These sessions are from when Monk was still scuffling and even though his style was fully formed I guess people found it bizarre.
