What Are You Listening To?

I need to grab that APTBS so that can be my "what are you listening to".  How is it?
I've put it on three times in the last day and I always start out thinking "all right, this is good" and then within 3-4 songs, I'm mulling putting on something else like the Intelligence or Dizzy D. The sonics are there but the songs just aren't that memorable, at least not yet.

New Hives is out and about too, hoping to nail it down before lunchtime run.
Hey Relaxer, did you get: Sortahuman x Dizzy D - Animal House yet? It came out last week.  I just now downloaded it and will listen to it on my commute tomorrow.

Nope, but I'm interested. Post your impressions when you can. I just bought a bunch of stuff this weekend so want to hear how it is before dropping any more $.
Its a free release.

That being said, I really dig it and would have paid for it if they would have sold it. Ive listened through a couple of times this week, and would recommend it to any Dizzy D or Sortahuman fan.
On the first listen of the new Chromatics record. Wow. I think this will be the LP of the summer.

You may know this but they also released a drumless version of this record. It's pretty neat but I like the original. Album of the year for me so far, along with Capsule, Dizzy D, Grimes, Killer Mike and thats all I can think of right now
Lester Young with the Oscar Peterson Trio (on CD which has a few extra tracks.. I also have the original LP and the two 10" LPs)

Doesn't get much better.

this is a Very Good Album.
I like the new Place to Bury Strangers a little more with a few more spins. I just don't get their dickless reliance on drum machines. A rock band needs a drummer, not a drum machine. It's like the difference between a giant magnificent penis and a $9.99 factory second strap-on.
I really believe in that simile with all my heart.
Confession: I never listened to a note of  The Walkmen until this week… Diggin' this new record.

i have tried and failed on numerous occasions to like the walkmen but this album is kinda growing on me too!
Another thumbs up for the new Walkmen record. But then again, I've enjoyed all their stuff.

Also thumbs up for the new Kelly Hogan and the new Rhett Miller.
