What Are You Listening To?

Today’s theme song is Little By Little specifically Sharon Jones’s version… at least that’s what the voices in my head were singing this morning
NPR news
I keep going back to the Strokes new one

I love it. Another Rick Rubin rehabilitation project

On my list to pickup
Monk and Coltrane @ Carnegie Hall
Eno / Apollo

Really good probably a classic

I hear what U2 must have heard when they hired him… one of the tracks has real overtones of where the streets have no name

A couple of others remind me of the KLF Chill Out album (one of my top favorites)

Damn good reggae album

Pope Paul & The Illegals 'When The Stars Come Hurtling Down

Got hipped to http://www.dialbacksound.com/ the studio run by Matt Patton (DBT)  because of his production on the Bette Smith record.

Anyways, if you looking for some raucous Rockabilly, be sure to check out this record.

Neil Young - Homegrown

Hitting the spot
AC/DC - Power Up

I bought the LP regular black version and regular CD

I did not but the gimmick although record store owner joked about me needing it

Music sounding pretty great…. Of course one is hopeful

This is really good, not sure how many episodes are planned, but audio clips of all the players live and dead are in this
just finished episode 3 and am drooling
I have almost no interest in hearing from the 'special guests'
Let me qualify that…I want to hear from Martin, Peter, Ian and Tony ….I don't want to hear from Bono, Jonny marr or Damon
What do you guys think of Mac Miller? My wife and daughter won't stop playing the guy. Am I wrong to think he's horrible?

You're not wrong, but is this the hill your willing to die on in the face of another year of quarantine

Da fucking best . . . Da fucking best.
I don’t want to jinx this but having listened to the new AC/DC album in it’s entirety twice I think this is a return to form

Much better than Rock or Bust (2014) and a bit better than Black Ice from 2008

It’s no Back in Black..those days are over..it could never be… but it’s damn good (if you like AC/DC)
