What Are You Listening To?

^cool! I just got this cause i'm missing some of their stuff.. its a 5 actually 6 i think disc box.. I got it for like $12 shipped… cd prices are so cheap right now its a good time to fill in holes in one's collection

I might have to check out that boxset!!! I'm really kicking myself for missing the buzzcocks in the past when they've played at the Black Cat and stuff. Granted, I think that was like 5 or 6 years ago, but still. After watching these documentaries called Punk Britannia, I really want to meet Pete Shelley and maybe even John Lydon.
RuPaul - Born Naked

I've been positively obsessed with this record by Cherry Glazerr the last couple of weeks. It was made by some LA high schoolers, and they just opened for Best Coast and Wavves. Really solid band for being so young. The songs are great.
Hype Williams - One Nation

got a chance to check out this one and enjoyed it… all the members were involved in a bunch of side projects the last few year during their hiatus.

Looking over their discography, I have their second and third albums from a long time ago, and just got album eight; so I still have albums four through seven (and one) to check out….
The new Violent Femmes is terrible.  I am not surprised.  Their last album, Freak Magnet, was also a huge piece of shit.

Was New Times their last decent album?  Probably.
