I've been introduced to a lot of great music thanks to this thread.
I would be quite content to listen to and talk about music all day, but I've got to work to feed the monster.

lou reed live
leftovers from rock and roll animal
don't really care for the twin guitar thing
cool cover shot, though
Jeremih - Late Nights: the Album
how do you, figure all of them out?  meaning, where do you come up with these bands?  I do enjoy the  feeling I get though, when I think I am dumb for not knowing them.

It depends.  I could probably write a long essay about it all, but do not have it in me tonight.

The bonus disc of the new Swans reissue

arthur lee & love - coming through to you: the live recordings (1970-2004)
Richie Hawtin - From My Mind To Yours
collection of tracks under his various guises
new coldplay album.  its good, but not earth shattering.  if they go out, they go out on top.  I don't agree with the halftime show, but good for them for having the chance to say they did it.

flaming lips  heady nugz.  im enjoying this trip back in time with the scattering of live songs.  I would listen to anything they did really, even the miley stuff, even the yoko ono stuff, yeah, even that stuff.

Amanda Lepore  I . . . Amanda Lepore.  She is classic eleganza.  prime diva bitch singing the floor down darling.

trey anastasio  tab at the tab.  so, fucking, good.  from the first song to the last, which I am not really a fan of zeppelin covers, but who cares.  great live show.

the necks - aether
Sinatra all day…. the two Christmas albums, two live bootlegs (62 and 75), the Capitol LP combining his first two  10" LPs (swing easy and can't recall)

how about this one?

amazing and strange concept album (a cross between 'berlin' and 'greendale'?).
comes with a massive poster.

I did not listen to that one but I would have enjoyed it!
I think it has aged well…
Don't you love it how LPs used to come with those posters?

I like She Shot me Down too.. one of my favorite album covers..I remember they had a copy hanging on the wall of Buccadibeppo in Dupont.. I think the restaurant is long gone

another Sinatra album I love that doesn't get much credit is the second one with Jobim… the first side is leftovers from the Jobim session and the second side has some cool covers like Leaving on a jet plane…I have a white label promo of it that I have listened to a lot.. I think its called Jobim and Company

Leslie Hall    Songs in the key of gold.
