Ha! Sounds quite a bit like Neil Young, so maybe?

$3.99 from millions of records (+$1.30 prorated shipping)

I will try anything for $3.99.

Seems like a solo album recorded with a symphony.

Like I said I really like Costello’s last three albums and now I have them all on lp. This is the first of the three and was released in 2018. Not sure about Costello’s artwork though. This is the “deluxe” with an extra side of songs. I got it for $13.02 all in on eBay.
Ash

duh

including their new track which will be the one and only time I pre-save a song… hope they like my non-existence using of apple music

$7 all in from Amazon

Reading LoL’s book Cured. Am about 40% of the way in and got to say pretty disappointing so far. I feel like LoL doesn’t want to give up the goods. Probably a combination of doesn’t remember much from being black out drunk and doesn’t want to dish on and antagonize Robert in any way.
man, wish he had sued the band Train from using their name

From the UK, they were known as Train and apparently never played live under the Taiconderoga name (always appeared as Train).
Train was late 60s five-piece, a hard-gigging outfit who supported the likes of King Crimson and Deep Purple. At the behest of their producer, they adopted the name Taiconderoga (a misspelling of Ticonderoga, a town in upstate New York) purely for the release of their only single (November 1969). The line-up was the following : Dave Searle, bass; Dave Blackman, vocals; Ray Defaults, lead guitar; Brian Robertson, rhythm guitar; Malcom Mortimore, drums & percussion. Drummer Malcolm Mortimore later turned up in Gentle Giant; while 18-year-old rhythm guitarist Brian Robertson subsequently changed his name to Brian James and few years after formed the leading punk band The Damned.

Besides be a scorcher of a track including all important Sax solo, killer bassline as well.. The Lyrics could have been written about today

Law and order's done their job
Prisons filled while the rich still rob
Assassination politics
Violence rules within' our nation's midst
Well ignorance is their power tool
You'll only know what they want you to know
The television cannot lie

A pretty brutal listen.

I got this from Millions of Records for $5.99 plus $1.35 for shipping. Seems to be a European press.

Recently picked up this fancy Fiio walkman. No frills operation so that they could put in higher quality parts. Works well, sounds great.

Inaugurated it with an advanced copy of Big Star's Third, as close to a test pressing as I'm going to get.

Whoever at Amoeba San Francisco filled my order, they must really like working there. There was still a $35 price tag on the tape shrink wrap.

Working on acquiring a copy of each Third CD release, each with different track listings. Three of four have arrived.
Nice! What a great album and maybe it’s cause that’s how I was introduced to it but the Ryko will always be my preferred track listing.
All I have is that recent test pressing replica edition.

Very Brel

Including this great The Jam inspired song "Bruce Foxton"

CD reissues with oddly different artwork. Lots of live bonus cuts on Squeezing; b-sides and "Fridays" live recordings on Up. Click on covers for track lists.
2 great albums from Mr. Parker

Not as good as I had hoped given the live videos shown on Vevo '70s on Pluto, but still worthwhile. Like with a lot of bands, the studio environment seemed to hold them back.

Click cover for track list.
Oh I have the first box set…guess this one makes it worthless…well it’s pretty banged up anyway

I also have all their records I think…maybe not anymore

More a fan of the concept- the first female rock band - than the music.
I'm gonna be honest, I had no idea this even existed

guess I have some homework to do
