What Are You Listening To?
The Fall- 50,000 Fall Fans Can't be Wrong Disc 1
boy I wish Marc E. Smith would come stateside…I don't care how drunk he is or if he performs in a wheelchair…
The Classical is such a banging track.. and you can just hear how much Pavement took from it…then Hip Priest is so much like Brink off the clouds… its funny all those years ago when I was so into Pavement I never knew much about the Fall other than Victoria….

ANOHNI - HOPELESSNESS
Aesop Rock - Bazooka Tooth
I had not listened to this since I bought it over a decade ago and gave it a chance… And did not like it. I like it now, and do not remember why I did not really like it/him back then. Oh well, I look forward to seeing him at 9:30 Club in a couple months.

Pigface - Gub
this is one of those records I have a special place in my heart for. Saw their first ever live show, Killing Joke opened. KJ filmed a video at that show, don't recall what song, but it ended up getting quite a bit of airtime on 120 minutes.

Rival Consoles - Howl

Naked Raygun "Jettison"
Not necessarily my fave of their albums, but their cover of Suspect Device is excellent

finally got the six sided monster..wanted it for years…. interestingly the LP issue has a different mix than the CD issue at least to my ears….more bass…presumably the LP is mixed like JB intended (test pressings were made in 71 but the album was not released)… this is James Brown with the original JBs including Bootsy and his brother Catfish…

I know people swear by Live at the Apollo- and its very good- but this is way more my speed…

Years ago I told a co-worker that I heard Midnight Oil in some of Fugazi's music. He was totally dismissive but I think it's obvious.
