What Are You Listening To?

maybe my favorite Nina album..this is the German version with alternate cover…. I prefer this cover.. i have the US version too…. either way really good
tom petty radio on sirius.
somehow got a free 2 month trial.
lots of rarities, live stuff, related artists, new mudcrutch (which just sounds like a great new tom petty album).
tom is the dj, does the promos, bumpers and jingles, some of which are pretty funny.
lost count of how many times i've heard "runnin' down a dream", however.
not necessarily a bad thing.

actually my other copy is the UK one… I don't have the US issue..

Great channel.

the fall - the real new fall album
rsd '16, blood splatter vinyl
primo mid-late period m.e.s., still coherent.

ramones - 1st lp, rhino 180g reissue, sounds really good and loud, detailed.
what a fine, well-rehearsed, performed, recorded album.
cover image not super fine quality, however.
that detail always makes it a little less special to me.
would love to come across an o.p. as nice as hutch's.
so sad they're all gone, saw tommy at a book signing in woodstock, ny a few years back.
went up for levon helm's ramble (he was still around at the time).
amazing barn, band and show, worth a trip for you music fiends.
best sushi chirashi i've ever had, apparently was a hang of levon's.
visited danko's grave, saw big pink (from a distance) and experienced the 'whispering pines'.
sorry for the detour.

robbie is a still a jerk.

can't sing for squat.

"somewhere down the crazy river", that is some painful s…

kate bush - hounds of love
ok, let's cool down.
the fairlight is not overkill, just enjoying the craft and artistry.
who can honestly say they did not have a slight crush on the fair kate?
and those videos…donald sutherland?
that was a time…
not a chance she'd bring that u.k. show to the u.s.?
lots and lots of The Cure
lots and lots
Infest - Cold Blood War
Yautja - songs of lament
Disciples of Christ - Decomposition Fantasy
Death, grips

Fashion week

It's great because, no one is singing.

Gevurah - Hallelujah!

This is the debut album from the Quebecois black metal band. Gevurah.  Seven songs; 2 are around 10 minutes long and 1 is 20 minutes long…

Their name translates to:
Gevurah or geburah (גבורה) is the fifth sephirah in the kabbalistic tree of life, and it is the second of the emotive attributes of the sephirot. It sits below Binah, across from Chesed, and above Hod. Gevurah is 'the essence of judgment (DIN) and limitation, and corresponds to awe and the element of fire,'
I spent the day listening mainly to Toots….a 2 disc Trojan comp…. so glad he settled his lawsuit.. I expect him to be coming by in the next year and I'll be there with bells on….I hope he really is 100% ok….."Sweet and Dandy" is such a great song…

I also listened a little to some Van Halen bootlegs from 78 and 83….not that interesting for me..
I heard the new Strokes song on this bizarre SiriusXM Radio Show hosted by Julian. It was okay, but I will need to hear it again to give a full retrospective opinion. And Jesus Christ has anybody heard Julian speak; what the fuck is wrong with him.
