I don’t know…he could be very congenial and spoke at least three languages as a native speaker (English, Spanish and Italian).
Add to that his history…he played for Carlos Gardel as a kid in NYC (14 years old!!) and I believe his parents didn’t let him get on the fateful flight to Colombia (that killed Gardel -44- just as he was poised to become a star in the US).
Obviously studied in Paris with Nadia Boulanger.
Just an incredible life….
I’d happily have him yell at me….
