Rhoda Dakar - Version Girl
Former singer with The Bodysnatchers/The Specials turns a solid album of ska/rocksteady versions of some classics. Wished it included the dub versions of these originally released as b-sides on previously released singles. Maybe, a deluxe digital release at some point..

Wolfmanhattan Project - Summer Forever And Ever
Knew this album was in the works, didn't realize it came out last year.. anyways its'
Kid Congo Powers, Mick Collins and and drummer-vocalist Bob Bert, whose skin work has distinguished albums by Sonic Youth, Pussy Galore, Lydia Lunch’s Retrovirus, and Jon Spencer and the HITmakers.
