Bought this by mistake (thought it was heavily lauded The Field) and have been very pleasantly surprised. Kind of a MBV-lite type of band.

Exactly. That whole album is killer…hard to believe it's been 8 years since his debut.

This is pretty good. Kind of a cross between the Fratellis and the Killers, but in a good way. It's not deep, but the songs are catchy and punchy.

Ha! Yeah, I was in a bit of a downer mood this morning, so reveling in Nico probably wasn't the best idea. That's why "Surrender" is now blaring in my office.
