What Are You Listening To?

Great show, horrible setting.

Found a good music blog that is filling in a lot of stuff I missed. Got this off of it. Very good.

And you are still awake to report on it?  ;D

You should have been at Iota when they, Hammock and Christopher Willets played. Everyone was falling asleep all over the place! As crazy as this sounds, it was a great show.
Rollins: The Boxed Life
Duelectrum
Electrolandia (EP)

This Brazilian band is perfect for those times when you're not sure if you want something heavy or something sleep inducing.

You've been sorely missed at the club!

Sweetcell, this is probably right up your alley:
Shackleton - Three EPs

Dark, kind of droney psychedelic dubstep.

Shael Riley, the nerdcore artist's cassette only rock release with his new band.
Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II

Hip-hop release of the year?
Mark Dimond "Brujeria"
Track of the decade right here!

"Smell Yo Dick" has just been dethroned.
Trentemøller

Harbour Boat Trips 01: Copenhagen

Not a bad album at all. Not necessarially a 'must have' but a definite plus to anyone's collection.

Usually I'm not much of a fan of various artists collections. More often than not, they contain a couple great tracks, several good tracks and then a whole lot of filler out and out shit. Almost all of this falls into the 'good' category.

The thing that makes this stand out from almost all other VA collections is the way that it's arranged. First off, Trentemøller has opted to use no buffers between tracks which creates a beautiful flow between the different songs. All of the music works extremely well together. It is very obvious, so much so, that you sometimes don't even notice a change of song. Most VA collections can easily be shuffled around with no real difference in presentation. This collection should be listened to straight through as Trentemøller has intended.

This would be great for those chill out nights where you want something slightly softened to fit that sort of mood, yet upbeat enough to feel some sort of excitement.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this to most of us.
Spectrum Meets Captain Memphis

Indian Giver

Mississippi Sonic Boom
Safeashome - Not What Happens
Mass Ave - The Boston Scene (1975-83) one of the two remaining albums D.I.Y. I need to complete the collection.  Been looking for a copy of this one for awhile…

Hilary Duff - Dignity

SUCH a great album. Seriously, pure pop at it's finest.

YES. YES. This guy knows what's going on. YES.
Schaffer the Darklord - Manslaughterer

The new album by the NYC nerdcore rapper.

David Sylvian, such a good artist
some great great stuff on this one - slightly scuzzed up folk

execrable album cover but some good songs on here as well - I get a real Verve vibe from them

Well that's all I need to hear. However, I'm doing some searching and am seeing nothing on them. Not even on allmusic or shareminer. Is this a made-up band Brennser?
