Other than the Chromatics 'Kill for Love' this has probably been my favorite release so far this year.
Guy DJing on WFMU right now dedicated an Alejandro Escovedo track to Twanggirl a few minutes back. Guess it also could have been someone else with the exact same name.

Twanggirl is pretty generic.

I'm listening to the new Walkmen and liking it.

Liking the new Richard Hawley as well, but not nearly as much as his other albums.

Not sure what you mean. A google search on "twanggirl" gives 5120 hits. Are they all referring the the person on this board who uses that as her screen name?

And of course anyone who calls themself TWANGgirl is going to be an Alejandro Escovedo/alt-country fan.
