Latest mix from Djemba Djemba. Caught this dude at 930 Club a couple months ago. Thoroughly impressed with his selection skills and they're on display perfectly in this mix. Tons of gems in here too.

The new Jason Isbell album is top notch. My daughter pointed out that she really liked track #2. She's usually a very vocal critic of dad's music selections, so it was great to hear a positive review from her. When I played the album again a few days later, she asked "Is this Jason Isbell?"

I also played Cyndi Lauper's "She's So Unusual" for her. She pointed out that the second track on that one was also her favorite ("Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"). I countered that "She Bop" was my favorite…she asked me what the song was about…I had to lie and tell her it was "about dancing".
