Not as good as the War Child Heroes disc, but this is a good 2-disc compilation out now as well
I didnt get the whole thing, but the 8 or so tracks i got off of it were all great.

I love this album.  Still enjoy it enough to play it once a week or so.  Right now im cranking it through my office's PA system, since nobody else is here.

predictably enough.

If you like this, you must get their full length called Interceptors. Very cool!

Every time their song "Cathode Ray" and Ringo Deathstarr's "Some Kind Of Sad" come on my radio station, I have to crank them up. (On my end; not broadcast wise.) They are the songs that I've been totally obsessed with lately. Highly recommend both if you like a bit of Rock in your Psychedelia.

Really 3 songs. The other is "99 Pills" by A Beautiful Noise. Not so much their other songs but this one sounds like something right out of the Spiritualized catelogue.
Tortoise 2/5/09

They played quite a bit of the new stuff. More synth-based than anything. The old stuff sounds tight as ever. Need to see this band again!
I want to listen to a good-quality bootleg of the Grizzly Bear show I just saw at BAM. It was…flawless.

If someone sees anything on DIME or any other torrent site, please let me know!!

I actually ordered that recently, it hasnt came in yet.  Glad to hear it is good as well.

Today it has been:

Good music for working at home.
Currently on repeat:

Dinosaur, "Kiss Me Again"
Odyssey, "Inside Out"

Arguably, two of the best songs ever created in the disco-era.

Listening to Hot Seconds lots lately:

and still addicted to:

M E T H O D MAAAN
i just heard this story that after the wu tang clan got signed, they drove around ny in a suv, wearing bullet proof vests . . . shooting at cops.  odb was the only one who got hit when a cop returned fire.  i wonder if that is true, and how did they get away with such a thing.  odb made the band for me, dfa.

for some reason, i hate to admit, that i have been listening to lady ga ga.  somebody shoot me.
great indie, semi-shoegazey sorta band from Alberta….you Americans might like.

I've heard a lot of people say that AFTER he died, I loved ODB but he wasn't my favorite. Method is number 1 and then I think ODB and probably GZA. ODB was still awesome but I think people give him credit because he went Big Baby Jesus and clocked out. I pay my respects, he was awesome no doubt, but he wasn't my favorite.

I mean, how can you not love Shimmy Shimmy Ya?
bishop allen …grr…
really like this…

could barely post this due till still LOLING@sweetcell for being himself…
You're Living All Over Me

Fans of Junior Boys or the Notwist would be well advised to check this out.
I saw the documentary last night so I had to pull this out for the first time in a while.  It always reminds me of my apartment in DC back in 2000-2002.

too bad no area shows for their tour…
