Nice… This is what I am now listening to.
He did not have anyone spellcheck his tracklist?

Bonnoroo?  Really?  I know it is not a normal word, but if you are going to perform there and write a song about it, at least spell the name right.

It sounds like I had way different experiences at the two Bonnaroos that I attended.

Half the rappers I listen to spell their name wrong. I thought misspelling something was just common in Rap. *thug shrug*
Does he also have a song called Lollopalaaza?

ok whats the lowdown on this "Sturgill Simpson"?

A lot of people yappin' about him… whats his deal?
Standard country-spillover-into-pop type act. Has some bluegrassy elements that appeals to the Fleet Foxes/bearded NW crowd. It's not terrible; it's not amazing.

Reminds me of old-school country. It's a nice listen. Also, I can't stand Fleet Foxes.

Julian has no clue what he's talking about. The album sounds nothing like the Fleet Foxes.

Your reading comprehension is poor: I never said it sounded like Fleet Foxes. I said it has elements that appeal to people who like northwest bearded-indie-folk stuff.

sound boring….

i like to rawk!

Future Islands - Song for Our Grandfathers

This song always makes me tear up.  Fuck cigarettes.  I never got to have an adult conversation with either of my grandfathers.  Never got to swap war stories.  Never got any adult guidance.  Nothing.

If you smoke, stop.  It is fucking stupid.
Augustines - Augustines

A Pela song came on shuffle and I decided to see what happened to those guys.  Good thing I did, because I did not realize the singer had a new band.
shamir  on the regular

damn.
Shell Shock w/ Alice Smith on Vocals, written by Sam Dew and the guitarist in TV on the Radio

Alice has always been one of my favorite vocalists and she absolutely nails this one…  Great jam with a statement
