M83 - Hurry Up, We're Dreaming
fairly similar to his previous one, although it rocks a tad more (and the synths sound extra 80's-ish). looking forward to the show.

I think one critic got it right when he called the new Wilco "dad rock" and the new Nick Lowe "grampa rock".
I hate to say it, but I may like the new Nick Lowe more than the new Wilco.

Braids - Native Speaker
i think a lot of people here will like this one. they're being compared to animal collective a lot, but unlike AC these people are actually enjoyable to listen to. their combo of female harmonies and general dream pop-iness remind me of school of seven bells at times.

Just heard their song on XM last night and I liked it. Definitely more accessible than Animal Collective.
I am listening to the new Tori Amos. You can make fun of me if you want, but it's her best album in 12 years. (except for the Cactus Practice song. That one's a little much).

William Shatner
"Seeking Major Tom"The musicianship, mixing, etc., is quite good; and Shatner is, well, Shatner.
Recommened if you like total bizarreness mixed in with good music. "Iron Man" totally cracked me up!

Ha ha! Try "Twilight Zone". That should crack you up. I'm totally straight but, damned, I sure wish that I was stoned out of my mind listening to this. What a blast that would be. Would make for a great Halloween party soundtrack.

I hope this doesn't mean Eagles Of Death Metal broke up… to be fair, it does sound exactly like EODM. Probably becuase Jesse IS EODM. I dig the song! I hope new EODM is on the way though.
