I prefer the newish sound but have been listening to mostly poppy stuff these days.

Max Romeo's War in a Babylon LP

its really a Lee Perry and the Upsetters Black Ark album with Max Romeo singing…

I held out for years and finally found the original US Island issue mint for a buck…kind of funny..some guy at a store got there before me and had a stack of Stones, Aerosmith, Allmans, Eagles whatever but passed on the Romeo…the one record I wanted…

Both are an enjoyable and captivating listen. I was surprised.  Some cool new sounds on the AS and a welcome return to form from MMJ.  Good weekend soundtrack.  Prince live streaming tonight, anyone?

listening to the tidal prince stream….where they are playing prerecorded prince songs…before he takes the stage.  wut.

also, apparently the stream is only from 8-9pm, and as of 8:25, its still pre recorded prince songs with crowd noise.

I guess it didn't work out for you? Why the hell wouldn't they just stream the entire show?? One hour? LOL. I've heard the show was great though.
