What Are You Listening To?

That place was dope…I lived close by and went all the time…they had good curated selection

Finally found this cd for the right price. Interesting…1920s versions of Roxy/Ferry…instrumental though…a lot of Ellington trumpet growl (was it Bubby Miller? Bubsy? I forget)
Def Leppard - Pyromania

funny, my 15 year old yesterday was sporting a Def Leppard shirt
Pyromania….probably my first favorite album
beside the the PE it's a great day at the HQ for new music listening

Adrian Quesada - Boleros Psicodélicos II

totally enjoy how Adrian with these records transports one to a  smoked filled bar somewhere in Latin America and listening to singer wearing their heart on their sleeve..

can't track down this down for sure, but it sounds like the musicians on this record could be the group he assembled for the first Boleros Psicodélicos shows
given the fuckery being handled down by our overlords it's a good think there is a new  Durand Jones & The Indications album "Flowers" to listen to.  this one feels like a great album for a lazy Sunday lots of lush soul tracks with great arrangements and Aaron and Durand share the lead vocals across the album.

Another girl another planet is pure perfection!

BRO: WHO DID YOU HAVE SEX WITH UNDER FALSE PRETENSES?
Today I introduced my wife and daughter to a hot new band from Baltimore called Turnstile. My daughter seemed somewhat receptive to exploring them more.
That was a very fun night for me! Thanks J and G!!!

Good show!!! Great company!!

I particularly enjoyed hatching the new rules and plan for the board moving forward….given we had a semi quorum…

Also any papal candidates…J has thrown down the gauntlet…

I can’t speak to any sexual encounters that may or may not have taken place….

And discovered the Andy’s pizza place! $4 pacificos!!!! I know where I will be pregaming….

That was the album that was playing at a party the first time I ever got drunk and made myself famous at my high school for all the wrong reasons.

Nah.

I declared my lust for a girl named S at the party in a slightly bold but not harassing manner. But my words were slurred so badly that "S" came out sounding like the nickname of one of the few fat boys in my high school.

So for weeks and perhaps months people asked me if I still wanted to fuck the fat boy. (I didn't.)

I hadn't heard thought about that in 40 years, but Google tells me that S is a staunch liberal. Do good for her.
Would read again.
