What Are You Listening To?

Yeah Julian, I am the terrible father, not Hutch.

Wait, what?  This just took a weird turn that made this not fun anymore.
It was fun to begin with? I personally cannot stand the Hutch Ejaculates All Over Every Thread on the Board Hour.

The undeniable peak of Al Jourgensen's career (FTFY)

My favorite of Al

I think the run of the Land of Rape and Honey, The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste, and Psalm 69 is great.  Even Filth Pig had it's moments.

I was a big fan of Rape and Honey back in the day, but then stumbled on The Last Sucker and it's really quite good. Nothing revolutionary but great to run or bike to.

How about you get back to writing your erotic memoirs?

making fun of people's parenting or children is not funny dude….. moreover, i spend more time with my kids who both have special needs than probably any other parent on this board does with their kids so I am not sure what you're talking about…

its just lame dude… there's a difference between having a little fun with ace frehley and attacking my parenting or my kids… and even if i was poor I'm not sure what that would prove? but my kids dont' want for anything ….but its pointless to argue with you..
I concur… Consider hutch's children and household off limits from this point forward, it's gone beyond being considered tolerable.

not in the least bit humorous or acceptable behavior.
this saddened me deeply.
not cool.
Motion to ban Julian from the board?
myeah, no.  that wasn't ban worthy.

not a marley fan (anymore, for years), but these jamaican pressings contain some cool dubs, versions and discomixes.

yes the punky reggae party is interesting.. i think they added it to the exodus 2 disc issue but i think there is still a lee perry mix missing from that… but memory fails…there are 3 or 4 original mixes of that.. i think two by lee perry… also interesting that the original punky reggae party mentioned the slits but when bob marley found out they were women he changed it..total mysogynist!

lately i like jamaican pressings but for a while i was very turned off.. they are cheap/quality control is not there.. but sometimes the BASS is way amped up and they sound different from what was put out in england.. .i been listening a ton to sreaming target by big youth.. the gussie version…not sure if the trojan version futzed it up…

then again i am "originalist" when it comes to vinyl.. i really like having the original.. no matter what..

i have a few marley jamaicans but boy do they look messed up…so much marley music was so overplayed and there is so much other great jamaican music its criminal to keep listening to him… his bass/drum team (the barrett brothers)  are so awesome and can be found on literally 10s of thousands of albums…meeting aston barrett a few years ago was such a thrill for me….

rita marley don't get me started on her.. nice of her to release her husband's music on the rita marley music label! WTF
my two favorite jamaican DJ reggae albums by far are Dr Alimantado Chicken and Big Youth Screaming Target.. they both deserve to be better known….
here's my Trojan version.. because its a blue label its probably a reissue although info on trojan labels is sketchy.. my favorite album/discovery of the past year…my Trojan LP is clean but for whatever reason I play the Gussie

apparently these were stolen from deaners car at some point and were never supposed to be released, but theres some really good stuff on here so i used an mp3 converter to get the youtube link downloaded, then spliced each song individually @256 and added some artwork from a google image i found of deaner.
